Oscar Trevino has unique experience and training in all aspects of securing the Southern US Border. Prior to retiring from the US Border Patrol, Mr. Trevino served as a Customs and Border Protection Officer at the Brownsville, Texas Port of Entry. Mr. Trevino became a subject matter expert in the protection and safeguard of the United States against terrorism and drug trafficking. He gained valuable experience from his assignment as Senior Cargo Officer assigned to the port’s Merchandise Enforcement Team where he ensured that imported commercial merchandise was compliant with US Code and Federal Regulations including high risk shipments.

Prior to joining the US Border Patrol, Mr. Trevino served as a Police Officer with the Brownsville Police Department. He received a Bachelor’s Degree in Correctional Administration and an Associate’s Degree in Police Administration from the University of Texas at Brownsville. Mr. Trevino is fluent in Spanish.
